At IFHCK Clinics and Lessons, we embrace every skill level! Join us for year-round indoor and outdoor hockey training. Whether you're a beginner or seasoned player, our expert instructors are here to help you reach your full potential. Come train with us and elevate your game!
IFHCK skills clinics are the perfect way to focus on critical skills in a fun and high-paced environment.  The clinic focuses change during each dates listed and cover a wide variety of skills.
The low player-to-coach ratio, combined with our high-paced, energetic atmosphere, is sure to have every player leaving with a new skill and love for the game!
DECEMBER CLINIC INFORMATION!
  • Format: Choose from one of the packages. (3 sessions or 6 sessions)
  • Location: King Louie’s Sports Complex
  • Time:
    • 4:45pm - 6:00 pm (8th-12th) & JK-4th
    • 6:00pm - 7:15 pm (5th-7th)
    • 7:20pm - 8:25pm (5th-7th)
  • Level: All skill levels welcome (clinic descriptions note focus for each session)

Session Schedule & Descriptions

Dec.2 — Passing & Receiving
Focus: ball control, one-touch passing, receiving under pressure.
Outcomes: Improve first touch, passing accuracy, tempo control.

Dec.4 — Shoot & Save Clinic
Focus: shooting technique
Outcomes: Finishing under pressure, GK positioning, reaction saves.

Dec.9 — 1v1 & 2v1 Attacking Skills
Focus: beating a defender, support angles for overloads.
Outcomes: Creative attacking moves, combination play, decision making.

Dec.11 — 1v1 & 1v2 Defensive Work
Focus: defending in isolation and when outnumbered.
Outcomes: Defensive shape, jockeying, recovery runs, covering/support.

Dec.16 — Attack: 2->5 Play (Attack 25 play — adapted)
Focus: structured attacking patterns, build-up to scoring opportunities.
Outcomes: Pattern recognition, finishing sequences, off-ball movement.

Dec.18 — Small Games
Focus: game-speed decision making via small-sided matches.
Outcomes: Apply learned skills in competitive, coach-led game scenarios.

What To Expect

Short technical warm-ups, skill progressions, coached drills, and competitive small-sided games. Each clinic runs a focused curriculum with clear learning objectives and individual feedback.

Coaches will provide small group corrections and on-field coaching points.

  • Who should attend: Players wanting targeted skill improvement. **Goalkeepers: relevant sessions (Shoot & Save) will include GK-specific coaching.

Bring: stick, mouthguard, shin guards, water bottle, appropriate shoes for indoor turf.

Please arrive 10 minutes early to check in.

Uniform: Pennie and shorts

Clinic fee is non-refundable. Registration prior to session is mandatory, no walk-ins due to number limits.

Equipment? All players must bring a stick, shin guards, mouthpiece and water bottle.
-We will be on turf to wear appropriate shoes. NO CLEATS! Goalkeepers will provide their own equipment.
